Sportsmanship

Today, I was browsing on WCReplays and stumbled on this interesting post about Sportsmanship. Basically, it talked about how you're going to be a lot more successful when you have better sportsmanship. While this is a little too fluffy for reality, it has got me thinking. Why do people have to demean others to make themselves feel better when they have obviously gotten outplay? Why do they do this so much that they push their friends away?

I'm sure most of us have had friends who have had this problem before, whether they are on the FAR end or not. I have had a friend who had one of the most extreme cases of poor sportsmanship. He basically yelled his lungs out and ignored every criticism that was given to him. He always blamed anyone else but himself. He did this so often that I eventually grew tired of him and never spoke to him again. It just sucks to listen to people like that. Anyways, tell me you guys have met anyone who had extremely poor sportsmanship? Or do you guys have that problem? I'll leave you guys with a video of my all time favorite Starcraft player, Firebathero. His sportsmanship is terrible, but well justified!

Web Comics

Today, I'm going to try to introduce you guys to two awesome web comic sites. You guys probably might not have heard of them before because they're WAY underrated.

The first one is going to have to be Amazing Super Powers. These guys are freaking HILARIOUS. Trust me, I get extremely excited every time they update their site. Be sure to check out the hidden comic those guys left behind by clicking the question mark next to the comic. The hidden comics are sometimes even funnier than the actual comic!

The second site is Completely Serious Comics. These guys are just too funny. I have to warn you though, they can get a bit vulgar, but in a funny way. Check them out guys. Hope I get you hooked!

Marvel Vs Capcom 3

I've been playing this game since it's released. It's an amazingly fun game that anyone can pick up any mash their hearts out and still do decent. Too bad once you get decent, you have to learn a lot more than just button mashing. This game makes comebacks VERY common with level 3 X-Factors. This increases the character's speed and damage by around 300% when they are alone. Making one mistake in this game can easily cost you the whole game.

One of the most fun things to do in this game is the combos. These combos can go on for DAYS. Once you learn them and show them to your friends, they'll be impressed just by how long they go for! Who cares about the damage scaling when you're STYLING! I'm currently giving all of my efforts on learning the Magneto's ROM loop. This combo is just ridiculous to see.

Fighting Games

With the launch of Street Fighter 4, the fighting game scene was reborn. I found my own love for fighting games with SF4. It showed me that if I put my time and effort into something, I will be rewarded. Generally, people dislike fighting games because they think they're not good at it. If you refuse to learn and get better, then sure you'll always suck at it. Next time you see someone who you think is really good, consider this, they spent their time practicing and grinding to get to where they are at. That is the reason you're losing. So practice and train your heart out and remember to never give up!

An Introduction

I'm fairly new to this whole blogging thing so I believe I should start slow. So let's talk about what I did in the past few days, shall we? Well, I decided to paint my TE stick's bezel a different color. Problem was, I used the wrong type of paint. Actually, I wasn't suppose to even use "paint". It was suppose to be dye, but Vinyl Dye was no where in site when I went to the store. Sadly, I caved and bought a substitute. I'm pleased with it's color but it's texture is quite uncomfortable.
