Today, I opened up my iTunes playlist, and pressed play. This lead me to searching for more songs because I realized that I've grown tired of my playlist. I grow tired of songs really fast because I listen to them WAY too much, to the point where I'll be over it. It's a bad habit that I have no idea how to combat. Do you guys have this problem? If so and you found out how to beat it, please help me!
Here's an awesome song by The Hush Sound.
Oh, I have this problem all the time. I listened to that Persona 4 battle theme non-stop at one point. To stop listening to a song I really like...I'd just do something else. Some quiet hobby that doesn't involve listening to anything. It's all about moderation!
ReplyDeleteDownload full albums and listen through them, or keep itunes on shuffle :x
ReplyDeleteit's happened so often to myself
ReplyDeletejust use pandora. helps you find new bands too.
ReplyDeletethats a good track, ive never heard of these guys before
ReplyDeleteI have the opposite problem. I get too lazy to find new music and I hate listening to the radio so I never know what is new. Pandora or lastfm is a great suggestion. When I tried to get out of my rut I used it and it helped.
ReplyDeleteYeah it doesn't happen anymore. I just met lots of people with lots of different music tastes and always have them recommend something!
ReplyDeleteThat happens to be a lot. I usually just put my iPod on random to get over it.
ReplyDeleteNow I need to check out what 'Pandora' is...
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way, I'll listen to a song so many times I never want to hear it again.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I do that too, it sucks 'cause it ruins some of the most awesome songs.
ReplyDeletedownload full discographies. listen to everything with shuffle on. solved my problem. also, there are songs i never get tired of, like stuff by zeca pagodinho and sergio mendes, both brazilian, great artists
ReplyDeletecool song
ReplyDeleteHaha I do this all the time but when the song comes on I'm rather glad i put it on :) Much love for the update <3
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem, sometimes i run out of good songs and I go back and listen to old music that i liked before.
ReplyDeletegreat song
ReplyDeleteawesome song.
ReplyDeletei listen to albums more then to singles, works for me
ReplyDeleteYea I got the problem of the awesome playlist that gets boring. Cool song you linked there tho.
ReplyDeleteDon't really know any songs in that genre.
ReplyDeletei hate wmg cant look this vid ;O
ReplyDeleteDude I have the same problem. When I was in college I used to be able to sit down and listen to the whole record. Now I just play one song.. and move on to the next flavor of the week.
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard this before, surprisingly.
ReplyDeleteLove the video man! Awesome stuff thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSame thing happened to me too.
ReplyDeleteI do that as well, listen to a great song way too much and ruin it for myself.
ReplyDeleteActually, i just check out music blogspots. They usually have the best selection of underground/indie labeled bands. And, they have blogs for all sorts of genres, and some to every genre. Haha.
ReplyDeleteSounds good but I don't trust bands with female lead singers. They always break your heart.
ReplyDeleteNo Doubt
The Cranberries
Garbage
En Vogue
Destiny's Child
Fleetwood Mac
etc.
etc.

same here, i have aplaylist of like 1000 songs i like, so the rest of my songs get neglected. but every once in a while i check the less heard of songs and find a gem.
ReplyDeleteI've had the same playlist since I was 16. The strokes and metric.
ReplyDeleteSame happens here, it makes me afraid to listen to a song too many times.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for some new music recently as well, so I checked out the top 100 best selling albums of all time and downloaded some of those.
ReplyDeleteYeah I have thousands of songs but I only listen to a few of them ever. Supporting and following. alphabetalife.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThe guy who mentioned pandora: yes! I am listening to it right now. I love pandora. It lets you find music you thought you weren't interested in and discover new bands. All without effort or research, it just does it for you.
